One species, treated as an annual, is sold in this country. brevisoapa, Thunb. (A. Zepiorhlza, var. breriscdpa, DC.). Stemless or nearly so (Gin. high), half-hardy, read ily prop. from seeds, and to be grown in a warm, sunny place. Lvs. usually longer than the scape, incised-den tnte : scape hirsute, bearing one large H. with dark cen ter and orange rays.
