Cladanthus

(Greek, hlados, branch, and anihos, flower; alluding to the branching, which distinguishes this monotypic genus from Anthemis). Compdsihz. An annual, yellow-rayed herb, branched from the base in a forking manner. A flower terminates each branch, where upon two new branches start from directly beneath the flower. Each of these is temporarily stopped by a flower, and so on. A free-flowering, hardy annual, requiring no special care.
