What is Cypripedium Hookerae

Popularly known as Paphiopedilum hookerae, Cypripedium Hookerae is commonly known as Hooker's Paphiopedilum. It is also known as Cordula hookerae or Cypripedium barbatum. The plant is native to Indonesia, Borneo and Malaysia. The plants bloom in summer and spring.

Cypripedium Description

Paphiopedilum hookerae flowers are larger than other plant species in the same genus. The petals are oblong, spatulate and green, except at extremities. They're pale mauve at the edges and richly-dotted at the median portion with crimson-brown patches.

The plant's labellum is greenish brown bloom between June and July. Cypripedium staminodium is small and greenish. Sometimes, it's grouped under the sub-variety of C.
